If i have loved my Wednesdays last semester, this semester it's packed. From 9am all the way to 7pm. Feel like i'm working on Wednesdays.
But that's ok. Consider it as an investment for the future. hahahahhaaha...
Just a short update with regards to my result. NO its not out yet. :) I went to check what the problem really was with the exam unit. Was informed that the problem lies with the faculty. There's this thing that they didn't declare and so the exam unit will not be able to release the results till they have the declaration from the faculty. Kak Ayu (the officer at the exam unit) was really nice. She even gave me her number so that i don't have to come down to the exam unit (which was by the way so isolated and super far) again just to check on my results. Thanks sis. :)
Anyway the reason for this entry was because of me waking up early on Saturday morning. For what?????
For this...
Ok how many of you have really played this flying disc?
Why flying disc and not Frisbee you might ask. During this short training session we learned that Frisbee is a company's name not the name of the sports. So that
So back to my question as to how many of you have actually played this game? And by play i mean the proper match way not the usual i-throw-you-catch way.
If you ever play the match you'll know that it's just like any other sports which requires the player to have good stamina (something that i realize i've been lacking of).
Never did i regret having to wake up early on Saturday and drag my still-half-awake self to the training. Cause i had fun in the sun (and now my skin is a shade darker than usual).
We started with some briefing session as to how the game works and the rules and regulations. The best part about the match i that its referee-less. So it basically lies in the players. They call it the spirit of the game. Where you ought to be honest in the match. If its a fault call it a fault. And if you didn't score say it. Honesty is the best policy in the match. :)
Later we were thought how to throw the disc. The proper way not the asal boleh way. It's harder than it looks ok. The backhand way was easy after a few try. Although it flew all over the place at first but i manage to get it right after a few throw and catch session. The forward throw was kindda hard to get. And when we proceed for the friendly match among us.... i was breathing like i'm having asthma when the match just begun. And to think that the soccer field was divided by half. Half for the boys and half for the girls. And for the girls it was divided into four and each team on a quarter part of the field.
That's why i said earlier that i need to work on my stamina. Its deteriorating ever since i left secondary school. :( In need of my physical training back. Did i mention how this Ultimate Flying Disc is being played? Well its basically played like rugby, american football or netball. Its the same way just without a touch down.
While i see to my PT needs you guys stay healthy and exercise regularly. Keep that stamina going. :)
Lots of Love
ella
