It came and it goes

January passed me by without me even feeling it did. It came with lots of fireworks and i ended the month by touring the country. :)

Didn't really notice January was because it was when i was busy preparing for my 1st semester's examinations, which by the way i have not know the results of it. It's damn frustrating to know that all the people around you are already throwing celebrations for the results that they get and all you can do is sulk and worry and be nervous about yours. :/ I'm not sure what's the problem with my results though. All the lady from the office said was that, they need to review my results again before they can release it. I almost worried myself to death upon hearing it for i once heard a senior said that usually if the results are bad the lectures will have a meeting first before they can came to a decision. Tell me you wont freak out upon hearing that. I even had nightmares ok about my results.

Maybe i was overreacting and being too paranoid as what the people around me said but honestly I've never been this scared in my entire life waiting for results. Not even when i was taking my O's not even when i was in the boarding school in Indonesia and not even for my course in MDIS. Simply because i had the confidence that i will make it through. But this one... I have not as much confidence as i did with my previous schools. Maybe i felt kinnda intimidated by my own classmates. They seems to know everything while i was like a total stranger to the subjects. What i know is that i tried my best or at least i think i did. So i'm still trying to convince myself to embrace whatever the results might be and just try harder for the next semester (yes i'm preparing myself for the worst).

Ok..enough about my results and back to the reason why I'm doing this entry. :)

January is always a special month for me for two of the people i love the most will turn a year older during this month. My first sis, kak Diya and one of my charmed girls, Lia. I wasn't home exactly on the 18th to celebrate Lia's birthday with her but Azi had something better in mind to make it up to her. A surprise during dinner with her. What's the surprise? Well... it's ME! hahahaha... she didn't know i was back and when i came she was shocked. ahahahha...the plan was a success and the mastermind was super proud of it. :p
I got her a cute musical box that had the word friend sew at the top of the box. Siti and Azi got her a pair of boots. She love them. :)

And amazingly i did not lost my way around town that day. Of cause with detailed instructions on the route by 'my walking directory', Azi. :) I've always love my outings with my girls. Be it just walking around town or seating down for a quite dinner or just hanging around each other for we always end up with lots of laughter doing crazy stuff or a really nice heart to heart talk. And sometimes both, which is what i got out of that one dinner i had with them the entire time i was home.

I have to admit i miss them soooooo much. But like i say my January was packed and before i knew it it was time to return to KL. Anyway here are some crazy stuff we did. Well the birthday girl had clean her cupboard and found some stars that was given to her on one of her birthdays and she decided to sprinkle some stars on the walkway. So we decided to help out. How could we let her have all the fun right?? hahahahaha...

The macam paham pose.
Being litterbugs for the night.  The floor was covered with the stars when we left. People that pass by us just smiled and some gave strange look. Who cares about what people think when you are having fun right. :)

With the birthday girl. Still can believe we are 24 now. It feels like only yesterday we were all excited about turning 21.

That's the gift i got her.
A toilet pose is a must for every outing isn't it?

Later that month i had a guest came over the house. She's one of the teachers i had while i was in  Indonesia. She was actually my first form teacher. The one who molded me and a few of my friends. Being the culture shock us to the new school we are bound to for the next four years, we were quite a difficult bunch to handle. Me made her days hell and well she was patience enough to make us who we are today. Was greatly indebted to her. So when she said she was coming for a short visit to Singapore with her husband and kid i offered her my place for stay. And played tour guide for the few days she was in town.

Wanna guess where i took her? Well it's not rocket science is it to have guess where i took her...hahahahaha It was obviously the Zoo and well were else but Asia's favourite playground, Sentosa. Since she was with her 1 year 6 month old child we skipped USS and when to the world's largest oceanarium, Marine Life Park, Sentosa instead. We went to have fun at the beaches there before going to the Marine life park. It was my first time there too. It was really huge. And we can't stop going gaga over everything we saw. It was really beautiful. The pictures was just a glimpse of the real thing.

A very cute and active boy.
Ayden's favourite marine animals. Sharks.
He was fascinated by whatever that was behind the clear glass.

My favourite part of the Oceanarium.
It felt like i  don't have to get wet for a scuba dive experience. :) Not that i don't like to get wet and go scuba diving. It just an expensive dream right now. So till i get a chance to actually scuba dive the visits to the Marine Life Park will do.

They actually have baby sharks in there.
The chocolate chip starfish.
And i had the chance to touch it. :) Have always wanted to know what a starfish felt like.
My sis was so excited upon seeing the pink fishes. Being the pink freak that she was i wasn't surprise at all when she start snapping pictures of the fishes.

Never in my entire life have i seen such crabs. Its called the spider crab.

No ordinary kampung houses. Not when it was situated in Sentosa. :)
My teacher saw songs of the sea on TV and she wanted to watch it. So there we were being amaze at the splendid display of lights, water and music.

A visit to the Singapore Zoo was a brief one. They were tired by around five so we left early. We manage to catch a few shows and brought them to the kids area for some water play before we went for a carriage ride and went to the last show before we call it a day.

The one animal that stayed in the hearts of  many Singaporean . I remember how we would always want to snap a pic with the famous and friendly Orang Utan whenever we visit the Zoo.

The sea lions show has always been one of the zoo's best show. Simply because of the splashing of water and the damn smart sea lion.
And no visit to Singapore is ever complete without visiting the Merlion Park. As usual it was jam packed with tourist when we arrived. Thank God the weather was on our side for that day. Although it was scorching hot but it was better than the rain.

I know the picture isn't really doing any justice to the place. I think it would have been nicer at night. With all the lights and all.

Have always wanted to ride in one of  these. Never did.
Daddy was being a very nice host. He took a day off so he can drive us around town that day. Honestly i was tired from all the daily outing and i knew so were they. Well they came for a short visit so we went out every day from morning to noon. And it was nice to ride in a car instead of going up and down the public transport. I wouldn't have mind the public transport if i was alone.
Can you see the rainbow reflection on the water? :)
There you go.  A clearer view of the rainbow.
And that marks the end of their trip to Singapore. It was a pleasure to have them around. Especially that cutie pie. He was so adorable i tell you. Too smart for his age and super active. He was still wide awake at 11pm ok. Ayden would have been asleep by 10 latest. If he lasted that long. hahahahahahah...

And with that.. the month of January ended for me as well. February was a good start. I went to Batam for a short trip with my ma'had friends. I don't wish to make any promise if i'll blog on that one. Not because it was not a fun trip or anything but there are just too many pictures to edit and i will be starting school tomorrow. So if i ever get around to edit the pictures i will put it up ok.

Till than...take care and be save wherever you are.

Lots of Love
