Bangkok Runaway (part II)

Hey there... first of all i would like to apologized for neglecting the blog for 2 months now. Was caught up with Ramadhan, raya and then i was busy preparing for school (excuses..excuses). Anyway just a quick update about me, I'm currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Will be doing my Bachelor in Usuluddin major in Islamic Theology and Thoughts. That will take me 3 and a half years to complete it here in University of Malaya. I have no idea that it was first establish in Singapore (now known as NUS). When Singapore and Malaysia separated, they decided to withdraw from Singapore and open up UM here in Kuala Lumpur. Interesting fact i got during the orientation week. Shall not prolong this entry with my UM's stories..promise will do so in another entry. Insya'Allah.

So you guys ready for Bangkok Runaway part II?? hahahaha.. i know its been ages already..so honestly i don't quite remember all the details for the trip. My apology on that. Will try my best to recall ok. Here we go..

We were awaken the very next day by the beautiful scenery from the room balcony. It was so beautiful. The moment you step out the first thing that will caught your eyes is the sea. The calm and peaceful sound of the waves crashing against the stone. The sight of fisherman (i think they are) with their boats. Just amazing. Perfect for couples who wants a private and romantic getaway. :)

We got up and had our breakfast than roam around the hotel snapping more pictures while waiting for the tour guide that my sis book online to fetch us to the Tiger Temple. We waited and waited...called them but still no one came and no one answered our call. We were frustrated already. We woke up early despite arriving late last night and no one came. So you can imagine the anger and frustration we felt. Lucky for us the hotel had a tour package and they brought us around Hua Hin and to the Tiger Temple as well. Since we were all hungry and it was almost impossible to find a halal food store there the driver brought us to the Factory Outlet Store. We were excited when we found a food junction kinnda place there. But our hopes of a proper meal came crashing down when we saw a picture or a pig's head on the menu. :(  No choice but we had to settle for some waffles and ice cream.

A few shots of the swimming pool area.

The hotel staff helping us to locate our MIA tour guide.

We finally got on a mini van provided by the hotel to take us around Hua Hin.

The Hungry us arrived at F.O.S
We had to settle for the Waffle Factory to fill our tummy.

My favourite shop. You who loves accessories can just go crazy in here. :)
Because there wasn't any in the hotel room. :)
After roaming around the F.O.S we headed for the Tiger Temple. It was drizzling by then. So it was kindda muddy and all. But that didn't dampen our enthusiasm of going in the temple to watch the tigers. Ouh.. if you do ever visit the temple always check for the dress code. For here they don't allow us to wear orange, red and basically bright colours and no revealing clothes too. We had to get a shirt for my niece cause she was using one of the forbidden colours. It was quite a walk in to watch the tigers. After a few shots with the tigers  we headed off to feed the baby tigers. My niece kept on asking when can we feed the babies. Unfortunately the time to feed was over. :( We were caught in the rain before we move off to the babies section so sadly we had to disappoint the kids.

We had to get a t-shirt for Alesha.
She was excited when she saw a 'Big Dog' hahaha...

Can you see the Que to take pictures with the tigers??

After many attempts of persuasions from us she finally wants to take a picture with the tiger but only the baby ones.

And it rains just after we are done taking pictures with the tigers.

I swear i didn't know what this is. It looks like a bear from far but when we got near it was nothing like it. It looks like its gonna die any minute. :/

The Tiger Temple Entrance.

After we are done with the Tiger Temple the driver brought us to this railway...(i can't remember its name). There were lots of people there mostly tourist like us and a few locals. As my mum and dad was fasting that day we continue our search for halal food and this time my mum says she need rice. I really pity her through out this trip for she's the only one who can't survive without rice. For the rest of us anything goes. hehehehe... so ya.. we went around the night market asking if there's any halal food around. Thank god a lady at the massage shop, where my mum get her long awaited massage, knew a halal stall selling RICE just down the walk way of the night market. We quickly make our way down the aisle of shops looking for the stall. Alhamdulillah we finally manage to locate the store just before maghrib.

They call it Briyani Rice. The chicken is hidden under the rice.
That's the railway.

This is a must try when you are in Bangkok. Coconut Ice Cream.

It taste nicer than it looks. :)
An amazing show by kids at the night market. I practically stood there and watch them perform their street dance. Sorry i can't seems to locate the Video we took of these kids.
One of the must buys when you are at the night market.
We headed back to the hotel with smile on our faces ( da kenyang mah... hehehe..) Not wanting to just stay in the room and miss out on the night view of the hotel we decided to head down and walk to the beach to enjoy the night breeze before bed.

That's all for day two of Bangkok. :) Not sure when i'll put up day 3. Once i have the time i'll definitely blog about day 3. Stay tune guys. :)

Lots of Love
   ella <3
