Bangkok runaway...(part I)

Hola...like finally i am doing this entry. Sorry for the delay. :)

I been saying alot before i left for Bangkok that this was the most waited/needed vacation right. Well that's because its been ages since we last embarked on a journey together. As a family. Its either me or brother that is not around. So after about years we finally got a chance for a vacation together. Its all due to Marriott Rewards points actually. My mum & dad sign up for this Vacational Club with Marriott hotel and they will have to pay a fee every year (i think) and as a results we get free stay at Marriott hotels or u pay less than the normal price (depends on how many nights you stay). Frankly speaking i don't really understand about this rewards thing. hehehehe... I just do as i please.


Anyway with this rewards points i manage to book a 4D3N stay at Courtyard by Marriott Hua Hin at Cha-am Beach (it is now known as Novotel). We manage to get a flight on Friday evening. Yes i know we wasted one day as the check in was at 3pm but i couldn't get an earlier flight as i booked our flights during the Chinese New Year airasia promotions. So i was left with no choice but to get the evening flight. Our plane was at 4:20pm and it was a two hours plus flight. So can imagine the i-sleep-and-wake-up-in-a-seat kindda feeling that i had through out the flight. Thank God i was used to flying back and forth from school. My brother on the other hand was not that lucky....he woke up with a sharp pain in his ears and he look really lost at that point of time that i just can't help it but laugh. He was like one jakon when we first board the plane. Snapping around with his camera and there was this point of time that he shouted "EH!!! SUPERMAN!!!" and ya you can imagine all the people turn and look at us. I seriously feel like smacking him! He can than laugh and say "abeh semue percaye" i was like "they are not buying your words they are looking our way cause they want to know who that idiot was screaming for superman!!!!!" I was glad that he fall asleep later. Here are some shots he took before he fall asleep....

A beautiful view we manage to capture...the sun setting while we are high above the ground. Subahanallah..

We touch down at Bangkok airport at around 7pm BKK time. After waiting for almost an hour for the custom clearance we manage to locate my sis, her kids and maid (they came from Phuket on an earlier flight) outside waiting for us with the airport transfer lady holding a card with my name on it. Feeling2 like in the movies jap. hahahhaha.... anyway since the driver cant wait at the entrance for us (as i was stuck earlier) he went missing and the lady had to call him before he arrived about 15mins later. So by the time we get into the mini bus we were quite tired actually. Everyone hoping we could reach the hotel soon to rest. But.....the driver drove and drove and drove and drove and drove (i felt like it was an eternity) before we actually reach the hotel. Besides the fact that he cant speak English and lost his way as the hotel change its name ready from Courtyard by Marriott to Novotel we somehow manage to reach our hotel at midnight. Yes no kidding we reach the hotel at midnight. Everyone was dead tired from sitting. From the plane to the mini bus ride. But the mini bus is nice though. It's super spacious and nice and clean and very comfortable that we fall asleep easily. hehehehehe.... We check in got our keys to our rooms and off and away to lala land we went.
